THE CHAMBER CHOIR NOVA

Welcome to the web site of The Chamber Choir NOVA. The following is a brief summary in English
Kammerkoret NOVA was founded by its conductor in the autumn of 2001, originally as a project choir for her exam at the Norwegian Academy of Music in 2003. The project was so successful that the choir continued its existence beyond the exam as an individual ensemble. Today, Kammerkoret NOVA consists of 32 singers with a broad variety of experience in various forms of choir singing and other genres of music.
In addition to giving concerts at home and abroad,
Kammerkoret NOVA has performed on CD recordings with a number of different Norwegian musicians, as well as recordings for movie soundtracks. Every May, the choir also organizes a series of concerts called ?Hunger?, inviting other choirs to take part in concerts where the ticket sales proceeds are given to the Norwegian Church City Mission.
